Adoption and Foster Coordinator
Beverley is the Blind Spot’s Adoption and Foster Coordinator. Beverley and Alesja met back in 2010 when they were both volunteers at the same small animal rescue. They developed a strong bond through their love of ALL animals and when Alesja and Alex adopted cute piglet Kevin and started the Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary Beverley was really delighted to be involved and to work on adoption applications for them. A lifelong vegetarian, and now vegan, Beverley is passionate about animal welfare. Beverley, her husband John, and son Lewis are all involved in the care of their Blind Spot foster pigs and piglets at their home in Cary, NC. In addition, to fostering BSAS pigs, they have a houseful of other pets, including 4 dogs, one cat, a bearded dragon, a gecko and a snake! they regularly foster dogs and puppies too!
When we met Alesja and Alex in 2010 we had our own 2 dogs, 4 cats, two reptiles, and a tank of catfish... and we were fostering dogs and puppies... we laugh now that Alesja was surprised we had so many pets!! LOL! Little did we know then that the tables would turn so dramatically!!
