Hi, my name is Deborah and I have been a volunteer at the Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary for about a year and a half now. Every hour that I get to spend there is pure joy. What Alex and Alesja have created for these precious animals is amazing. It doesn’t matter whether I am cleaning stalls, scooping poop, preparing food, sweeping out the barn, whatever the job is I am happy and it is an act of love. I am looking forward to retirement so I can spend much more time at my Happy Place!

What do you love most?
Being able to hold a tiny piglet, give belly rubs to the bigger pigs and scratch their ears or head, laying down to snuggle with them is so rewarding. The animals love it and so do I.
