Volunteer
I moved to North Carolina two years ago. I was involved with Greyhound rescue in Arizona and I had my first tour of a farm sanctuary shortly before I moved. I was looking for a place to volunteer and I noticed BSAS on Facebook and started to follow it. I was so impressed with what I saw, I scheduled a tour soon after. I was mesmerized! I spent the majority of my adult life working in the corporate world where it was fast-paced and usually stressful. Now I have the chance to spend time with all sorts of animals. I love the hard work and I love the snout kisses even more! I’m thankful I found this oasis where I can contribute and where I can make a difference. I have met a lot of terrific people while volunteering at BSAS and I enjoy every minute I am part of it.
