Holiday

Holiday and Sweetheart came to BSAS together as a bonded pair. Holiday was once a racing horse and as with most racing horses, once they are no longer bringing in money, get injured or get too old, they are discarded. Holliday found herself in a kill pen which she managed to escape and found herself walking along a highway when rescuers got her to safety. Sweetheart was surrendered by her owner. At 35 years old she was the oldest resident at BSAS. She got to live out her golden years at the sanctuary until she decided it was time to run free once again.
